How it's worked out
CIF value = item value in JMD + freight. Duty is a percentage of CIF. GCT is charged on CIF plus duty and fees. Fixed fees: customs admin fee JMD 2,500 and stamp duty JMD 100; levies: environmental 0.5% and standards compliance 0.3% of CIF.
